Development and implementation
One of the Tools & Techniques that we use is the development of KPI’s and Dashboards. It will help the organisation to focus on the company’s goals. This requires a development of the right set of KPI’s, the level of detail, and the actual development of dashboards. Many companies start the other way around and develop a dashboard from the information they have. For Performance Management it is required to start with the company’s goals and develop these into dashboards.
Example of a Maintenance Workflow Dashboard
We have developed a workflow dashboard based on SAP-data to show all relevant process data for the Maintenance Managers. This dashboard has information on backlog, schedule compliance, and so on. Besides, it shows information on the quality how the work orders are put in the system. Is it known who made the work order? Is there a proper description? Is it clear about which component the work orders relates to?
Example of a steering dashboard for an Airplane Engine Shop
To steer and control an engine shop a lot different data is needed to understand what the status of each motor is and what action is needed to complete it on time. These dashboards include:

• Workshop capacity management

Example of a Labour Utilisation Dashboard
To focus the organisation on Labour Utilisation we have developed a Hands-on-Tool-Time dashboard. This waterfall-type graph shows the time spent on several categories. With the information available on how much time is spent on unnecessary waiting, getting tools, moving, etc one can start to make changes to the process to limit these time losses.
Example for Contract Management
One of the examples for Dashboards is the development of dashboard views for Contract Management. In this case the required view was on the implementation of standard contractors. In order to monitor how many of the orders and how much of the spend was with their standard contractors this dashboard was developed. Based on data already available but with the right look & feel so that this tool is very much appreciated within the organisation. We also develop contract performance and benefits tracking dashboards.
